A new app has appeared on the Google Play Store claiming to be Cyberpunk 2077 for Android phones. Don't think that we have to tell you that this all wrong, see there is no port of the main Cyberpunk game the only way to play Cyberpunk is on a console or on PC. The scary part of this ripoff app is that it is just straight up ransomware (ransomware is a software that once you grant it permission on the said device it locks that device and normally you will see a pop up asking for money and once you send the people money they claim they will unlock the device). Now many people will be able to look at the app thinking that it is just too fishy looking and they would be 100% right but you have to remember there are people out there that are not tech-savvy and not as informed on what to look for when downloading apps, Many people see downloading apps on the play store as safe they trust in Google to protect them and for the most part, this is true but there are times where apps like this slip through without notice. Now the kicker is this app has reportedly made $10,000 from people. Just be careful when downloading apps take time to look at the app especially when it comes to things like this a good rule to go by is "if it is too good to be true then it most likely is".

For those that have been fallen victim to this app online users have found the key you need to decrypt the ransomware and that code is 21983453453435435738912738921.
