If you tuned in to the new Xbox "gameplay" event you were either super hyped or sadly let down by what was shown off. We did see a lot of cinematic trailers for a couple of upcoming third-party games coming to the Series X. Games like Scorn to Assassin's creed Valhalla were shown off with very quick and hyper cut trailers but is this really what was promised by Microsoft? Tweets and other ads they were talking about this event did say that we were going to be seeing gameplay of the games shown(stated in the picture below).

The event seemed to also be confused about who the target market was showing what seemed to be games more focused on the core player base expect for games like madden and dirt 5. Most would think at this point that Microsoft would start to go after their casual market and trying to show them why they need to upgrade or even switch over to the Xbox family. Granted this is one of many events that Microsoft will be holding and there is much more info to come in regards to the Series X and no matter if you are an Xbox or PlayStation you should be getting excited to see what is in store for this upcoming generation.
