Bad News From Bethesda

What was learned today on twitter from Bethesda VP Pete Hines could bring a dark cloud over any Elder Scrolls fan head. Many were alerted to a tweet that was recently put out when some asked for an inkling of info on the new Elder Scrolls game. As you can see in the picture Pete Hines responded to the tweet from a fan and he seemed to be annoyed or even upset from the question the response seems to be passive-aggressive or condescending in tone. He states that Elder Scrolls VI will launch after Bethesda's new IP Starfield which we have no info on either. This was not anything new though because Bethesda has said before that Starfield will come before Elders Scrolls but the words that piqued the interest and plenty including myself was "if you’re coming at me for details now and not years from now, I’m failing to properly manage your expectations" with this we learned that we will be waiting a long time. After reading this a big question clicked into my head, what was the point of showing us the teaser so soon if the project is YEARS from launching? I understand they want to get people hyped for their upcoming games but why did they not go for the Fallout 4 tactic where you show you trailer or gameplay close to when the project is done and then launch it that year or not too far from the reveal. If it was their goal to limit our expectations then why not do it from the start and just not show anything at all of if you must talk about then just mention it in passing to let people know you are working on it and move on or at the least give us info and be more transparent with when we might expect to see more of these titles.

Let us know what you know if the situation below in the comment.
